Salaam alaykum! Each year InterVarsity groups welcome Muslim international students from around the world. Peace Feasts are a favorite event bringing Muslims and Christians together to share food and discuss faith, topics like justice and suffering, and common figures such as Yusuf/Joseph and Maryam/Mary. Most Peace Feasts happen locally on campus, but occasionally we have them on Zoom and bring people from around the country (and globe) for deep discussion. Here are the upcoming online Peace Feasts. You're invited! Join and you will be welcomed and respected by people of faith.
Upcoming Peace Feasts:
New Beginnings: Making Plans for a New Year When a New Year begins, some cultures have the tradition of making “New Year Resolutions.” They reflect over the past year and make commitments to initiate changes or accomplish things in the new year for self-improvement. For this Peace Feast, we will be looking at verses in the Qur’an and the Bible that help us reflect on what our religions teach us about making such plans. Saturday February 5 @ 11am Pacific / 1pm Central / 2pm Eastern REGISTER HERE You will receive the Zoom link and guide with scriptures after registering. There is a shareable graphic below, which is also available as a PDF.
